What Types of Bookings May Be Eligible?*

Transfer eligibility depends on the supplier, booking type, timing, payment status, and other restrictions.

Existing direct bookings may be eligible for transfer for destinations such as:

Disney Destinations
Disney vacations and select Disney travel reservations

Cruises
Including select reservations with cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line, Celebrity, and others

All-Inclusive Resorts
Select resort bookings in Mexico, the Caribbean, and beyond

Hotels & Luxury Travel
Certain hotel and resort reservations may qualify depending on the supplier's policies

Other Vacation Packages
Some tour operators and vacation suppliers allow eligible direct bookings to be transferred to a travel advisor.

Is My Booking Eligible?

While requirements vary by supplier, an existing reservation is more likely to qualify when:

• You booked directly with the travel supplier, rather than through another travel agency.
• The reservation is still within the supplier's permitted transfer window.
• The reservation has not reached final payment or another supplier-defined restriction.
• The booking meets the supplier's specific transfer requirements.
• The reservation has not been booked using certain restricted forms of payment, points, miles, or special programs.

3. Authorize the Transfer

If your booking qualifies, we'll explain the next steps and any authorization required by the supplier. We will asign you a MFG travel advisor if you dont specify one.

4. Let Us Take It From Here

Once the transfer is completed, your MFG travel advisor can assist with your reservation and help you navigate the details of your upcoming vacation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it cost anything to transfer my booking?

In many cases, there is no additional fee to transfer an eligible direct booking to Magic Family Getaways. However, eligibility and any applicable fees or restrictions are determined by the individual travel supplier.

Will my price or reservation change?

A transfer generally changes the agency handling the reservation rather than creating a new vacation booking. However, each supplier has its own rules, and we cannot guarantee that every element of your reservation will remain unchanged. We'll review your booking and explain what to expect before moving forward.

I booked directly with a cruise line. Can you help?

Possibly! Many cruise lines have procedures that allow certain direct reservations to be transferred to a travel advisor, but strict timing and payment requirements may apply. For example, Royal Caribbean currently allows eligible direct bookings to be transferred to a travel advisor within 30 days of booking creation, provided the booking is outside final payment and not paid in full.

I booked directly with Disney. Can I transfer it?

Some Disney reservations may be eligible, but Disney's rules vary by product and reservation type. Because transfer policies can be time-sensitive, we recommend submitting your request as soon as possible so we can review your specific reservation.

Can you transfer a booking I made through another travel agency?

Generally, no. We respect the professional relationship between travelers and their existing travel advisors. Our transfer service is primarily for reservations booked directly with the supplier.

Can you guarantee that my booking can be transferred?

No. Transfer eligibility is controlled by the travel supplier, not Magic Family Getaways. We will review your reservation and let you know whether it qualifies.

What happens after my booking is transferred?

Once the supplier confirms the transfer and Magic Family Getaways becomes the agency handling the reservation, your MFG travel advisor can assist with eligible questions, changes, planning, and travel support according to the supplier's rules and your advisor's services.

Why should I transfer if I already booked my vacation?

Because having a confirmation number isn't the same as having someone in your corner.

Your travel advisor can help you navigate the details, keep an eye on your reservation, answer questions, communicate with suppliers when needed, and help you prepare for your trip.

And when your reservation is eligible for Signature Travel Network benefits or preferred amenities, your advisor can also look for opportunities to add value to your experience.
