Bookings Open October 19, 2026
Okay, Disney Cruise Line friends, now we finally have some of the details we've been waiting for about the Disney Believe cruise ship!
Disney just gave us a much bigger look at what is coming to this exciting new ship, and there is so much to be excited about.
From the first-ever stage adaptation of Encanto to a brand-new Frozen dining experience, immersive Zootopia entertainment, new lounges, coffee spots and some incredible accommodations, the Disney Believe is shaping up to be something very special.
And if you are already thinking, “I want to be on that ship,” there is one very important date to remember:
Disney Believe bookings open October 19, 2026!
The Disney Believe will make her inaugural sailing December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, with four and five night sailings to The Bahamas and Caribbean.
Let's take a look at what has us so excited.
Disney Encanto Is Coming to the Stage
“We can finally talk about Bruno.”
Those words from Lin-Manuel Miranda were probably enough to get every Encanto fan's attention.
Disney has announced that Encanto is making the leap from the screen to the stage, with the first-ever stage adaptation of the beloved film coming exclusively to Disney Cruise Line beginning in 2027.
Lin-Manuel Miranda shared his excitement about seeing Mirabel's journey come alive through live performance, music and dance, with the story's themes of family, joy and the vibrant culture of Colombia at its heart.
And honestly, this is exactly the kind of announcement that gets me excited about Disney Cruise Line.
There is something completely different about watching a Disney story come alive right in front of you, surrounded by your family, rather than simply watching it on a screen.
For all of the families who have watched Encanto approximately 400 times, this one is going to be special.
Meet the Disney Believe Cruise Ship
The newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Believe, will make her inaugural sailing on December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The ship will offer four and five night Bahamas and Caribbean cruises, giving families another opportunity to experience Disney Cruise Line on a shorter itinerary.
And for anyone who has been waiting for a new Disney Cruise Line ship, this is exciting news.
But what really caught my attention from today's reveal are the experiences that will make the Disney Believe feel different.
A Brand-New Frozen Dining Experience
One of the reveals I am most excited about is Oaken's Table: A Frozen Family Feast.
This isn't simply a restaurant with Frozen decorations. Disney is creating an entirely new dining experience and story.
Guests will enter a Scandinavian Summerhaus-inspired courtyard where Oaken and his cousins will host a family feast filled with music, storytelling and appearances by Anna and Kristoff.
This is one of the things I love about Disney Cruise Line.
Dinner isn't just dinner. It becomes part of the story.
And if your family loves Frozen, this one is going to be a must-do.
New Restaurants, Bars and Lounges on the Disney Believe
The Disney Believe will also introduce several new spaces for adults that immediately caught our attention.
Sea Notes
Inspired by Ariel's grotto, Sea Notes will be an elegant piano lounge featuring beautiful underwater-inspired details, a pearlescent piano and specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
Skygazers
This one sounds particularly fun.
Skygazers will be an observatory-inspired pub for adults, complete with celestial maps, astronomical instruments, craft brews, cocktails and light bites.
And yes, there will even be live sports.
Wishing Well
Inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Wishing Well will feature several different environments, including a castle-inspired bar, a storybook courtyard and a performance space inspired by the Dwarfs' cottage.
Because with Disney, even a place to grab a drink can become part of the story.
Two New Coffee Stops
Coffee lovers, Disney thought about you too!
The Disney Believe will introduce Big Hero Sips, inspired by Big Hero 6 and San Fransokyo, and Café Kakamora, bringing the colorful world of Moana and those mischievous Kakamora to life.
Both will offer coffee, tea and specialty beverages.
These are exactly the kinds of details I love about Disney Cruise Line. You can be walking around the ship, discover a new spot, grab a coffee and suddenly feel like you've stepped into another Disney story.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets Gets Even Sweeter
And then there is Inside Out: Joyful Sweets.
Disney is bringing back this popular sweet spot with new characters from Inside Out 2, including Anxiety and Envy.
There will also be nearly 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, daily handcrafted gelato specials and signature sweets.
Because let's be honest, a Disney cruise should probably include ice cream.
Lots of ice cream.
Step Into Zootopia at Gazelle
And then there is Gazelle, a new multi-level entertainment hub inspired by the bustling mammal metropolis of Zootopia.
Designed to capture the energy and spirit of the city, Gazelle will give families another immersive space to explore and enjoy entertainment aboard the Disney Believe.
I love that Disney continues to find ways to make you feel like you are stepping into the stories you love, rather than simply watching them.
A Ship Designed to Feel Like Disney
This is what continues to make Disney Cruise Line so special to me.
Disney doesn't simply put characters on a ship and call it a Disney experience.
They create stories you can step into.
A Frozen restaurant becomes part of the story.
A lounge transports you into Ariel's grotto.
A pub feels like an observatory.
A coffee shop takes you into San Fransokyo or Motunui.
An ice cream shop brings the emotions from Inside Out to life.
And then there is the entertainment, the characters, the music, the water attractions and all of those little Disney details you discover throughout the ship.
The ship isn't just where you stay. The ship is part of the vacation.
That is what makes me so excited about the Disney Believe.
The Believe Tower Suite
For families looking for the ultimate Disney Cruise Line experience, the Believe Tower Suite is something completely different.
This two-story suite is located inside the ship's forward funnel and will sleep up to eight guests.
What makes it particularly incredible is its inspiration: Magic Kingdom Park.
Different spaces within the suite will reflect different lands of the park, with details including fireworks and Cinderella Castle.
It is a pretty spectacular way to bring the magic of Disney Parks to the middle of the ocean.
